techUforward was founded in 2011 by François Girodolle (LinkedIn – Twitter).
Since its inception, techUforward has focused on delivering strategic and operational consulting services to technology companies, helping them structure and grow their business and improve their competitiveness, operations and profitability.
In parallel to his activities at techUforward, François is an active member of technology ecosystems in Europe and North America, an advisor to technology startups, and a judge and mentor in various startups accelerators and competitions (incl. Cleantech Open, Hello Tomorrow Challenge, The Cleanweb Initiative and Hack4Good).

Prior to these roles, François has held various positions designing and driving local and international growth strategies in start-ups and large global high-tech companies. He started his career at France Telecom R&D, where he participated to the design of advanced intelligent network systems. François later joined Nokia, where he held strategic marketing roles in the Network division focusing on long term value creation for Nokia customers, and business development responsibilities over the Western Europe, Middle East and North Africa area in the Internet Security Division. His interest for smaller ventures further led him to join Netsize –a mobile services company- as Business Development & Marketing Director in the Entreprise Division, focusing of new products and strategic growth in the Machine-to-Machine sector, and later on an Internet reservation platform in the hospitality business as Marketing Director.
François holds a Master's degree in Engineering from Supelec, and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management (Sloan Fellows Program in Innovation and Global Leadership).
